Four Beautiful, Family & Dog Friendly, Welsh Stone Holiday Rental Cottages with Private Enclosed Gardens -

Some with Hot-Tubs

Surrounded by 46 acres of glorious private farmland and ideally situated right on the border of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion (Just 1 mile outside Cardigan and only a 10 minute drive from the award winning Poppit Sands Beach and the start of both the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coastal Paths...).

"The perfect place to stay in Wales"

THE COTTAGES

Originally converted from cattle sheds in the 1980's, the beautiful Welsh stone cottages at Owl Farm, have been lovingly renovated and refurbished and now provide holiday rental accommodation, which is extremely comfortable and regularly described as being "the perfect home from home" by the farm's many returning guests.

All of the cottages have their own private, fully fenced, dog friendly gardens, and each has a log-burner (for cosy evenings in).

Whether looking for a romantic weekend away for 2, or organising an extended family get together for 10, Owl Farm has a cottage to suit.

THE FARM

All of the many and varied animals at Owl Farm, are primarily kept as pets, some of whom give us lovely fleece, for spinning into yarn.

They are loved and cared for as such and will most certainly not be heading off to a butchers shop at any time in the future…

They are mostly pedigree ‘Rare Breeds’, in an attempt to help their survival, and are enjoyed for their characters, they help to keep the grass and weeds under control, and they ‘conservation graze’ areas, to help with bio-diversify.

In addition; Owl Farm is home to 'The Shelby Stud' (a renowned breeder of the finest Gypsy Cobs), and to their highly regarded, Horse and Pony Rescue program.

THE AREA

Cardigan or Aberteifi as it is known in Welsh, sits on the border of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire with many superb beaches & coastal walks.

An ancient Welsh cultural and commercial centre on the Teifi estuary, Cardigan is a busy market town, which boasts a number of annual cultural festivals and events.

The town's buildings are predominately Georgian and Victorian in style, many of which are in use as fashionable boutiques, traditional shops, inns and places to eat and socialise. There is a wealth of local food producers in the surrounding area, and their produce is found on many menus throughout the town.

Cardigan and the surrounding area, are extremely dog friendly, with many of the shops and cafes happy to welcome four legged friends.  It is the perfect base, for exploring the many wonderful things, that West Wales has to offer.

THE BEACHES

The farm is situated close to an array of beautiful, clean, sandy beaches with clear waters, caves, waterfalls, wild rugged cliffs and so much more.

Poppit Sands (just under 4 miles away), is a huge ‘Blue Flag’ bathing beach, which is great for children and dogs, and is also the start of both the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coastal  Paths, with their stunning walks!

Another jewel of the Ceredigion coastline is Mwnt Beach. Owned by the National Trust, the headland overlooking a very pretty and secluded sandy bay.

The users of ‘Wales Online’, crowned the beach at Aberporth as ‘Best Beach in Wales 2016’. A compact crescent beach of golden sand (7 miles from here).

Whilst for body-boarding the waves, you will usually find plenty of locals in wetsuits, up at Llangrannog Beach, a small ‘cove’ style beach, with rocky outcrops.

These are just 4 of the many wonderful beaches along Cardigan Bay.

Suffice to say; Cardigan Bay is widely regarded as being home to some of the best beaches in the UK.
